Out of 11.000 French independent company owners, Martin Michaeli was elected in 1999 \u2018Entrepreneur of the Year\u2019. The French President Fran\u00e7ois Mitterand awarded him in 1995 the \u2018National Order of Merit\u2019. In 2000, the French President Jacques Chirac honoured him with the highest decoration of France by making him a \u2018Chevalier of the Legion of Honour\u2019. He was given several times the \u201cOscar of Exports\u2019 as well as the award of the \u2018Best Shoe Brand of France\u2019 by the French shoe retailers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cosmopolitan says of himself that he has three souls in him: a German, an American and a French, all three living now in Switzerland.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
